Working in a busy and successful Fire & Security company and reporting to the Estimating Manager and Sales Director, you will support the sales department in preparation of tenders and proposals of security and life safety systems.

Duties will include:

  • Answering and directing telephone calls
  • Logging service calls and organising engineer attendance
  • Organising routine maintenance calls and engineer attendance
  • Organising follow up calls and engineer attendance
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Use of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Use of bespoke software
  • Use of office equipment such as photocopier, scanner, franking machine

You will receive the following training:

Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:

  • Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)

This is a work-based qualification although some college attendance may be required for functional skills.

The starting salary is £184.80 - £262.40 weekly for 40 hours Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00..

The apprenticeship will run for 16 months, starting on Monday, 17 January 2022. Applications close on Friday, 07 January 2022.
